1. Introduction

Welcome to SocialGrow ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account information (name, email address) when you register
  • Instagram account data when you connect your account via OAuth
  • Messages and comments you manage through our platform
  • Contact details and consent choices that a visitor submits on a creator's public page to receive a digital product or join that creator's mailing list
  • Any other information you choose to provide

Creator pages and digital products

When you request a free product from a creator page, we use the email address you provide to record the request, make the product available, and send a backup copy. The creator can view that contact as a lead. Joining the creator's newsletter is optional and requires a separate consent choice; requesting a product alone does not subscribe you. We keep a record of that choice so it can be respected later.

Link tracking

When a creator adds a button with a link to an automation, that button points at a SocialGrow redirect so we can count how many times it is opened. The count is per button link and counts every open — it is not per person. We do not record who opened a link, do not store IP addresses, device information or location, do not set cookies, and do not build advertising profiles. Links typed into the message itself are never modified or tracked.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google or connect a YouTube channel, we receive and store the following data from Google:

  • Your name, email address, and profile picture, from Google Sign-In
  • Your YouTube channel ID, channel title, and channel thumbnail, read once via the YouTube Data API so we can show you which channel you are publishing to
  • The videos you choose to publish, together with the title, description, and privacy setting you enter for each one

We do not read your YouTube watch history, subscriptions, comments, or any videos you did not publish through SocialGrow.

TikTok account and publishing data

When you connect TikTok or publish through SocialGrow, we store:

  • Your TikTok account identifier, display name, avatar, granted permissions, and encrypted authorization tokens
  • The Instagram Reel you select, the caption and TikTok settings you confirm, and the resulting publish status
  • Basic public performance for SocialGrow-created TikTok posts: views, likes, comments, and shares

We do not read your TikTok inbox, contacts, drafts, viewing history, or videos that were not published through SocialGrow.

To transfer a Reel to TikTok, we temporarily store a copy with a cloud storage provider so TikTok can retrieve it for publishing. The temporary copy is used only for this transfer and is deleted after the publishing attempt, subject to automatic cleanup within 24 hours.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Process and send auto-replies on your behalf
  • Send you technical notices and support messages
  • Deliver digital products that visitors request from creator pages
  • Manage creator leads and optional newsletter subscriptions
  • Respond to your comments and questions

4. How We Share, Transfer, and Disclose Your Information

We do not sell your personal information or Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising or to train generalised artificial intelligence models.

We share information only with the service providers and recipients described below, and only to the extent needed to operate SocialGrow.

  • Google LLC / YouTube — when you publish a video, the video file and the title, description, and privacy setting you entered are transferred to YouTube through YouTube API Services in order to create the upload on your own channel.
  • TikTok — when you confirm a TikTok post, the selected video, caption, privacy setting, interaction choices, disclosures, cover position, and consent are transferred to TikTok to publish on your authorized account. We then request the post's public status and basic performance metrics.
  • Cloud hosting and storage providers — temporarily process selected video files so TikTok can retrieve them for publishing. Temporary transfer copies are automatically deleted within 24 hours.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (Instagram / Facebook) — replies, comments, and direct messages you send through SocialGrow are transferred to Instagram so they can be delivered. No Google user data is sent to Meta.
  • Dodo Payments — our payments and subscription provider. Receives your name, email address, and billing details in order to process payments. No Google or YouTube user data is sent to Dodo Payments.
  • DeepSeek — used only to draft a suggested YouTube title and description when you repurpose an Instagram Reel. It receives only the Instagram caption and the Instagram username. No Google user data, no YouTube data, and no video content is sent to DeepSeek.
  • Axiom — our application logging and monitoring provider. Receives operational logs from our servers, which may include Instagram content processed through the service along with account identifiers and error details, and which we use to diagnose problems with message delivery and automation. Logs are retained for 30 days. Access tokens and passwords are redacted before logs leave our servers, and logs do not contain YouTube content, video files, or Google account credentials.
  • Cloudflare — serves our website and dashboard and provides network security and private file storage. It processes traffic and stores creator-uploaded digital product files; it does not receive stored Google user data.
  • Email delivery providers — receive the recipient address and delivery content needed to send a requested product email and related service messages.
  • Creators and creator-selected newsletter providers — the creator whose page you use can access the contact details you submit. If you separately consent to newsletter marketing, those details and your consent status may also be sent to the newsletter provider that creator has connected.

SocialGrow runs on servers we manage directly. Your account data, Instagram data, and Google user data are stored in our own database and are not hosted with a third-party data platform.

We may also disclose information in these limited circumstances:

  • Legal requirements — if we are required to do so by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Safety and enforcement — to investigate suspected fraud, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Business transfer — if SocialGrow is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Limited Use of Google User Data

SocialGrow's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request the narrowest scopes needed to operate the publishing feature, we use Google user data only to provide and improve that user-facing feature, we do not transfer it except as described in section 4, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. Instagram access tokens and TikTok access and refresh tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

  • Delete your SocialGrow account and all associated data — you may request this at any time by visiting your account settings or contacting us at [email protected]. We will process the request within 30 days.
  • Creator-page leads — are retained while the creator uses SocialGrow or until they or the visitor request deletion, subject to legal and security requirements. If a visitor unsubscribes, we may retain the minimum suppression record needed to ensure they are not subscribed again unintentionally.
  • Revoke YouTube API access — you can revoke SocialGrow's access to your YouTube/Google account independently via Google Security Settings. Upon revocation, we will no longer be able to access your YouTube data through the API.
  • Revoke TikTok access — disconnect a TikTok account from SocialGrow's Connections page or remove SocialGrow from TikTok's connected-app settings. New TikTok publishing and metric sync stop after access is revoked; publishing history may remain until you delete your SocialGrow account or request deletion.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to processing of your personal data
  • Withdraw newsletter consent or unsubscribe at any time without affecting product access

9. Cookies and Device Data

SocialGrow stores, accesses, and collects information on and from your devices, including through the use of cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. These are used to maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and improve our services. By using SocialGrow, you consent to this use of cookies and similar technologies. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling cookies may affect service functionality.

10. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with the following third-party platforms:

  • Instagram / Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — Your use of Instagram features through SocialGrow is subject to Meta's privacy policy. We recommend reviewing their policies to understand their data practices.
  • YouTube API Services (Google LLC) — SocialGrow uses YouTube API Services to enable video publishing and cross-posting to YouTube on your behalf. By using these features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and your data is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can review and revoke SocialGrow's access to your YouTube data at any time via Google Security Settings.
  • TikTok for Developers — SocialGrow uses TikTok Login Kit, Content Posting API, Webhooks, and video APIs to authorize accounts, publish creator-confirmed videos, reconcile status, and show basic performance. Your use is also subject to TikTok's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
