Add extras to an AutoDM
Extend an AutoDM with links, attachments, follow-up messages, follow checks, or an email and phone request.
The message step lets you make an AutoDM more useful than a plain text reply.
Add a button
Add a button when you want people to take one clear action, such as opening a guide, product page, or signup form. Use a complete URL and write a short action label.
Add an image or video
Attach an image or video when the content helps explain or deliver what you promised in the message. Keep the text useful even if someone does not open the attachment.
Add follow-up messages
Follow-ups send after the first message with a delay you choose. Use them for reminders or additional context, not for repeating the same request several times.
Ask people to follow first
You can ask someone to follow your Instagram account before sending a reward or the next message. Configure the opening message, profile link, confirmation button, retry message, and what should happen if the follow cannot be verified.
Capture an email address or phone number
Turn on contact capture when the workflow should ask for an email address or phone number. Write the request and consent text clearly so people know what they are sharing and why.
Captured contacts appear in Leads after someone replies.
